Last Restyling

The last two avatar restylings that were still missing in order to finish the
job were He-man and City Hunter.
With these two, the updating work should be completed for all the avatars and
from now on only the new ones will be published.

He-Man:

– changed the paling of the hair
– changed the expression of the face
– changed the shading of the sword
– changed the shading of the cover
– redone the legs completely

City Hunter:

– changed the color of the jacket
– modified shading and coloring of the skin
– completely redone the face and hair

Skeletor (Restlyling)

I am continuing the restyling of the previous avatars and this time I am focusing on Skeletor,
my first avatar ever made. The version initially published on the site was already subjected
to a number of modifications, however I still was not happy with it.

Major improvements were made:

– the skull and the hood were completely redesigned
– the belt size was reduced to increase the caricature effect
– the right arm was remade completely: the double arm posture was removed.
– the left arm is now leaning on his hips whilst with the right one he is holding the
sceptre in his hand.
– All the shades have been reworked to improve the cartoon effect like the recent avatars.

Two remaining avatars will require further improvements:
He-Man (possibly not requiring a big overhaul) and City Hunter (I am still not convinced
of the final face design).

Restyling old avatar

Today I have spent some time modifying a number of avatars. Whilst for some avatars only
minor adjustments were done, Popeye required pretty much what I consider a complete
restyle, and this also ended up affecting all my older avatars as well!
Here is a complete list of the fixes made:

Titty:
– colours palette change

Dastardly and Muttley:
– partial colours palette change
– minor various fixes on Dastardly, especially for the Hood

Asterix and Obelix:
– single colour palette change

Scrooge McDuck:
One of the avatars who required lots of work:
– change of the colour palette, now resembling the comic one
– the shades were changed to improve the cartoon appearance as I have done with the
most recent avatars.
– facial expression was changed with other minor fixes.
– also changed the glasses design and the transparency effect added for the lenses

Ranma:
– shades and colour modifications
– legs design modified
– face expression reworked

And that`s all for today , only 2 avatars missing now, He-Man and ,most importantly
Skeletor that will likely require loads of work.

Popeye (Restyling)

Looking back at the avatar page, I can`t help but notice the drawing and colouring
gap between my last avatars and the first ones.
Some of the old ones were designed years ago so I started to think about restyling
some of them.
That`s the case for Popeye, the second avatar I created after Skeletor.
However not much was changed despite the initial design is quite old.
The general posture was maintained but the left arm and the facial expression have
been completely reworked.

Seiya

Avatar dedicated to the main character of Saint Seiya wearing the Sagittarius
golden armour.
